The Show Must Go On

I just wanted to extend my thanks to all those who have offered words of sympathy during this very difficult time. As you can imagine, the wound is still very fresh from last nights David Archuleta loss but hopefully "Archie" will be successful in the future and will produce more then a Christmas album and a couple of firesides.

Again, thank you to all those who called or texted me last night to offer words of comfort.

I am deeply saddened by the results as well. I am glad you have so many friends and family to support you at this time David Cook is so awesome but Archie was the cutest. I will be the first in line to buy the Christmas CD of David Archuleta's. And Firesides....I am there!

I was at YW last night, but word spread quickly. The girls were saddened. I hate to admit this to you but I bet against your Archie. As adorable as he is and always will be I knew cocky Cook would win and I have $20 bucks to prove it!(I know I'm gonna burn because I bet--it was a friendly wager)
I hope you will be able to get through this tough time!
Love ya babe!!!

I too, am saddened by the loss of Archuleta, not being #1. Although I was a faithful Archie fan, I felt torn, due to both finalists being from both of my home towns (Arch from SLC and Cook from Kansas City). I voted about 40 times for Arch but I guess I was about 11,999,960 short!
But we all know he'll do well. He just needs the right songs!

PS I still need to see the video of him at the Jazz game. Maybe I could come by the clinic some day and see it!

It was such a good show down between the David's. Archie will go on, this is not the end of him.
