All season long I have teetered back and forth between David Archuleta and David Cook. I love David Cook's voice. I think he's awesome but then on the other hand, I think David Archuleta is adorable! Last week I finally admitted to myself (and to Ben) that I have a crush on a 17 year old BOY! I will not deny it any longer! After he sang "Stand By Me", an all time favorite song of mine, I decided that I am for sure voting for David Archuleta...LOVED IT! I think I voted approximately 25 times last Wednesday...and I am not ashamed of it.
Ben totally surprised me and took me to the Jazz game last Friday night. I love the Jazz so I was super excited but I was even MORE excited 'cause little Davie sang the National Anthem. So precious. Ben got it all on his cell phone camera but of course I don't know how to transfer that to my blog. So if any of you are interested in seeing it, please contact me and we can work something out (for a small fee). Anywho, take my word for it, ADORABLE! I did take a couple pics of him on the jumbo tron. Sorry they are so crappy but it's all I have for proof.
Finally, Ben and I find it so hilarious that Ben's little cousin, Abby was in both the Deseret News and the Tribune. Love the tears rolling down her face because she is seeing little Davie sing at Murray High School. So I am sorry Abby but we MUST post these pictures! 
I am dubbing myself an official "Archie". For those of you who don't know what an "Archie" is, it is what all those little teeny bopping, David loving girls call themselves...and I am PROUD to be one!!!

Ashlee, I have stories from people that know David that would make you love him even more...
I'll tell you one quick...
My sister in law (Lauri Carrigan. You can find her music at Deseret Book) and David have the same voice coach (I have "prego brain" and so I can't remember his name, my apologies). Archie and his coach do voice coaching sessions via the internet while he is doing AI. One Sunday the coach called David and asked if he was ready for the session. David hesitated for a second then asked if they could postpone it till later that night because conference was about to start and he really wanted to watch it.
I love David and after hearing that made me love him even more.
But don't hate me...but, I love Seyesha...maybe a little more.
But all three are amazing.
(And maybe I'm into AI a little too much...:)

That is awsome. I love archuleta also. But I missed him singing the anthem. So I would love to work something out with you if you could. The moment he sang Imagine I died I loved him so much. I vote for Archuleta...so cute!
I love it! I am an Archie fan too!! He is a super cutie! Did you vote last night? I tried several times but could never get through. Thanks for showing the pictures. My mom told me all about it but I didn't see them tell now.

I love David Archuleta. I am definitely a fan. I almost called you last night Ashlee after watching American Idol. It was so awesome. We need to chat about it. But, between David and David, I think my vote is for DA. So so cute! He is just adorable. I think I have a secret crush on him too. I can't believe you went to the Jazz game and saw him. Too Cool!!!
Ash, you're so cute! I didn't know about the name Archie, thanks for teaching me about it, cause now I know that I'm an Archie. Thanks for sharing the pics of Abby, I didn't know about it, she's so cute, looking at her pic. you'd of thought it was back in the day of the Beetles. :)

You make me laugh. I can totally hear your voice when reading this post. I am still on the fence. I get so scared for DA for some reason being thrown out there into the crewl world of music making. He does have a great voice....so does DC. I just don't know:)
