C'mon And Take A Free Ride!

So, Ben and I rode the new Front Runner last night. If you are not familiar with Front Runner, it can be compared to Trax in Salt Lake but so much cooler! This double decker train travels from Salt Lake to Ogden at about 75 mph. It just opened last Saturday and they are giving free rides until Wednesday so we thought WHY NOT? We were happy when we ran into our friends,
Nate and Cherylyn and little Chase at the train stop in Farmington so we dragged them to Ogden with us. Needless to say, the train was packed on our way up to Ogden but the ride was smooth. I am not familiar with Ogden at all but I was actually quite entertained with downtown Ogden (obviously I am quite easily entertained). I loved the quaintness of it and I actually felt like I was on vacation...to Ogden. :) We stopped at Karen's Cafe and Ben and I shared a little piece of Italian Cream Cake which was delish! Then we headed back home. We pulled into the Farmington stop at about 10:30 p.m.. It was a great evening! Thanks Nate and Cherylynn for coming along with us! We had a great time with you guys!

Also last night we celebrated our awesome weather with our first BBQ of the season. Hot dogs are my fav thing on the BBQ so we grilled up some weenies and enjoyed our patio that Ben built when we first moved in even though I wont let Ben break out the patio furniture yet (there is a chance of snow on Wednesday). Gotta enjoy a good thing while it lasts!

Ben and I worked our little hearts out last Saturday and cleaned up the yard quite a bit! Ben mowed the lawn and I planted about a dozen day lillies. I was so happy to see that everything I planted last year in the perrenial garden, has come back! Tis the season to work your butt off in the yard! But I love it!

One final note, Ben and I were very happy to see that one of our (and my mother's) favorite BYU football players was drafted in the NFL and is heading to New York to play for our favorite NFL team...the Giant's! Way to go Kehl!!!

Your patio is the cutest! I love that picture of you grilling the weenies. I want to have a BBQ on your patio this summer so we can enjoy your beautiful garden. If any of you haven't seen it, it is a piece of art!!

How fun! I love adventures like that. (I'm easily entertained also)I spent a weekend in Ogden when I was at a Sorority Officers Conference. It was fun. Michael Damian stayed in our hotel. Anne & I rode in the elevator with him.

Sorry about Jake's comment...he's uncontrollable when it comes to BYU.
Anyway, we went on the new train also. It was fun accept for the million people who also rode.
I still can't get over the fact that you eat hot dogs due to the fact that you are so picky with certain foods. You're a funny gal Ashlee! But I have to agree, hot dogs are DELICIOUS!
