Spring has sprung! So happy to have the sunshine, my cute flowers, and a fresh start.
Today I got together with my mom, sisters, aunts and cousins for our Spring luncheon. We always have a great time laughing, acting stupid (something we do really well), and reminiscing about my cute Granna and Papa. It was such a fun day! My cousin Patti, just returned home from CHINA and brought us all a beautiful 100% silk scarf. Everyone got a different color. I love my PINK scarf!
I've been checking in on the yard nearly every day to see how things are growing. And are they ever!!
I love how my lilies start out in early Spring...sticking their little "pineapple" heads out of the ground. They are ready to see the sun too! Hard to believe that soon these little guys will look like this...
And you know that Spring is here when the Daffodils are blooming! Their little yellow faces make me so happy!!
I have a new favorite fruit salad! I made it today for the luncheon. I also made it for this past Thanksgiving. But it is so yummy and perfect for Spring and Summer. Make it! You'll be the hit of the party!
Bonnie's Fruit Salad
One 8 oz. cream cheese (SOFTENED)
Two white chocolate raspberry or strawberry Yoplait yogurts
Two cartons of Cool Whip
1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
Your choice of fresh fruit (I did strawberries and blackberries)
Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip and yogurt. Add sugar. Mix well. Fold in fruit right before serving. So yummy!
Wishing you a glorious Spring and a most wonderful Easter!!
xoxo

I miss my spring flowers, I have been yanking them out yearly but you know how tulips spread. I planted a bunch the first year we lived in this house and 7 years later I am still yanking them out. I let them bloom of course but after they get yanked, bulb and all. I probably should just plant more instead of yanking them out every year.
Thank you for printing the fruit salad recipe! It was so yummy! Your flowers look so cute! It just makes me happy to see things greening up and poking their little heads and leaves thru the ground! Spring is grand! Loves
