Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu!

We always celebrate Ben's dad's birthday with a big Chinese feast...all homemade of course! After my mother and father in law slaved away in the kitchen, making all that delicious food, we all sat down to a JAPANESE feast instead. Needless to say, it was all so YUMMY! Everything you can imagine, nothing I can pronounce and when I opened my little envelope, I found a 10 dollar bill...not bad! The year of the ox has been good to me so far! Ben's sis, Anne made us little place cards with our names in Japanese. Way cool. It was a great evening. And I walked away VERY full!! Bob and Sue always put on a fun evening!
Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu Bob!! We love ya!!

We had a Chinese feast on Sunday too. With Chinese written name tags as well, we must have gotten the vibe. However, I missed out on the $10.00....luckyyyyy! :) I'll be posting pics soon.

I just had to comment on you 'bandages', it made me laugh out loud. What a creative person you are! It was fun at game night to get to see you. Enjoy. Love, Aunt Janis (Kearl)
