Yes, I AM still alive...barely :)

I am sorry that it has been so long since I have blogged! Ben and I have been so busy trying to redecorate our family room. We have been painting every day after work/school and we are just about done with this process...and quite a process it has been. After being on my feet 10-11 hours a day at work, the last thing that I want to do is come home and paint. I would much rather sit on my butt and watch Biggest Loser or American Idol (I love you David Archuleta). But we were expecting our new couches yesterday so we had a deadline to meet and we finally got it done! And I give all the credit to Ben. It looks great!! I apologize, but Ben has given me strict instruction to not devulge too much info at this time. His sister is flying in from California next weekend and staying with us and he wants it to be a surprise. He is BIG into surprises. So in respect of my Ben, I will just say, it looks awesome! It has been a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun picking out new furniture and what not for our new room! I will post pics later!!!

Tomorrow, (March 9th) Ben and I will celebrate our 8th anniversary! Ben and I went to lunch today at Market Street Grill and we were talking about how we cannot believe it has been 8 years. It feels like yesterday. But then again, it seems like I don't remember there being a time when we weren't together. I seriously am so blessed to have Ben in my life! You are a lucky person if you can call your husband your best friend! How did I get so lucky?! Ben and I have been through a lot these past few years and there is no one else that I would rather go through it all with. So before I start crying right here and now, at the computer I will just say I LOVE YOU, BEN!
